Redeem Community Health Consult organized a health outreach for pregnant members of our community. The topic was on Pre-eclampsia and Eclampsia.  It was an engaging programme which stimulated reactions and responses from the pregnant woman. They were shocked to learn that though they carry the fetus, they have no direct contact with the baby.

We recall the programme our team did years back with utmost success. They were as impactful as they were successful just like our School Health Series as well as OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Persons)

Today, is International Women's Day and we at Redeem associate and felicitate with all went world over for another day  to remember the virtue women stand for. What would we do without women. We call on all men and women of goodwill to lend their support to women world over especially the ones struggling with all manner of challenges. Happy women's Day 

Members are encouraged to donate their mite as we plan to visit the less privileged to touch their lives thie festive season. Prominent, among the places planned are motherless babies homes and correction centers. We also plan to visit our OVCs(Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Persons like widows). No amount is too small. All zonal leaders are encouraged to galvanize their members to respond to this. No amount is too small.  Secretary.

The town hall meeting held on October 30th, was packaged in two sessions which highlighted the activities of the Executive and other partners. It was indeed as insightful as it was rewarding. Redeem Community Health Consult represented by our president, Dr. Ikechukwu Onyekwelonwu took time to address the unequal Representations at the World Health Assembly with particular reference to Africa. At a well attended meeting today, members agreed to cooperate with government agencies and the community to assist in dissemination of information on monkey pox. The President used the opportunity to update members on the pathogenicity of the disease and preventions. Members were treated to light refreshments.  The executives were happy for the way members turned up for the meeting. We look forward for the next meeting coming up in a month's time. Registrar. Community delivery efforts in the community to curb malaria burden. 

Recently! Redeem Community Health held a community service outreach during which members of the public were offered free medical checks and consultations. It was a resounding success.

The eventual internment of our president's mum, Nneoma Monica Onyekwelonwu Nwagwu takes place on 24th March, 2018. Service of songs would be held on 23rd March, 2018. May her gentle soul rest in peace.  All tributes should be sent to jovialman26@yahoo.com

It is pertinent to note that since WHO came onboard, the Africans who represent a focus significant global disease burden has consistently suffered under representaion in every aspect of the World Health Organization.
